Scenic 30-A boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Rarely do you find beaches as preserved and pristine as these. The communities have gone to great lengths to preserve the beauty and grace of the beaches of South Walton.

I could write at length trying to do the 30-A beaches justice but there is nothing like seeing them first hand for the first time. They will literally take your breath away. There are constantly events taking place throughout the year along 30-A so be sure to check back often!

Alys Beach

Astounding architecture welcome you into this elite community. Most beach access points are private so we recommend passing through this beach town unless you’re lucky enough to be a member.

Blue Mountain Beach

Quiet secluded community with gorgeous emerald beaches. Perfect vacation spot to avoid the hustle and bustle of Destin. The beach access is on the south end of CR 83.

Carillon Beach

A family resort village with picture book scenery that will truly captivate. Carillon Beach encompasses over 100 acres of serenity along the Emerald Coast. Plenty of outdoor activities are available from rental stations in town including kayaking, canoeing and sailing.

Dune Allen Beach

This beach is surrounded by rental vacation homes within a small tight knit community. Stallworth Lake is the largest coastal dune lake within the town and is a rare eco phenomenon found only in Western Australia and other portions of the far east.

Grayton Beach

Grayton Beach is our favorite of the 30-A beaches. The state park offers hiking trails through the salt marsh as well as supreme fishing. Adventurers can try their hand at kayaking or canoeing on the lake as well. The beach is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and is worth a day trip to visit from Destin.

Rosemary Beach

Slip on down through the rustic town, past the green to access the beaches. Walking through the small street of the town give off a European feel that takes you back in time. Fabulous views from this quiet and exclusive town are worth the hour drive from Destin.
On the far eastern end of 30A lies the gorgeous Rosemary Beach. This new community has all the amenities yet maintains an unspoiled appeal. It is worth the trip to cork a bottle of wine while watching the immaculate sunset.

Each community along 30-A offers something unique. Whether it be fine dining, water sports, adventure or pure relaxation, there is something for everyone. If you are looking to get outside of the Destin tourist buzz, just spend an afternoon driving to the end of 30-A stopping at the various towns to just walk around. Most of the communities are family oriented so if you’re looking to spice up the nightlife, head just a bit further east to Panama City.
